What is DPCC license in Delhi.
DPCC stands for Delhi pollution control committee. DPCC is govern and regulated by ministry of environment & forest & climate change. The committee provides a NOC certificate to a industry based on type of business and based on pollution generated by the business. Once complete verification is done committee issues a NOC and that is known as DPCC license.
What is CTE and CTO?
DPCC issues 2 types of consents known and CTE and CTO.
CTE – CTE stands for consent to establish. Business needs to obtain CTE from State Pollution Control Board following the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981, before starting the construction activities on site.
CTO – CTO stand for consent to operate. Business must obtain CTO from State Pollution Control Board following the Air Act, 1981 and the Water Act, 1974, before the commencement of it’s production activities.
Types of DPCC as per pollution index
As per pollution index DPCC has divided the industries. There are 4 4 categories as follows:-
- White
- Green
- Orange
- Red
Industries has to take DPCC license as per their category under which they fall.
